Humans are made of energy, in a universe powered by energy. The notion of “vibrational” energy is often associated with spirituality and wellness, however the practice is actually deeply rooted within physics. Einstein taught us that everything is energy—every person, every place, every thing. We all vibrate at a different frequency level.

The higher your vibrations are, the lighter you feel (emotionally and physically) and the more open you are to joy and love, peace and clarity. As your life flows with synchronicity, you open yourself up to receiving, allowing yourself to manifest your desires with ease. Overall, higher vibrations open you up to a more positive mindset and quality of life.

Raising your vibrations doesn’t have to be new age nor complicated. Here are 8 simple ways to raise your vibrations.

  1. Gratitude

Gratuity is what makes the world go round. Being grateful for the things you have already achieved and what you have in your hands helps for positive feelings to surface, thereby increasing your vibrations and opening you up to even more good things. The way you speak to yourself matters. Acknowledge how far you’ve come, all your achievements, all the joy surrounding you and put some love in your own cup.


A good way to practice gratitude is journaling. Keeping track of all your gratitude in the now can help you stay mindful. Ask yourself what makes these things important to you and what would your life look like without them?


  1. Journal

Journaling can help a lot with easing anxiety, stress and de-cluttering the mind. A lot of mental clarity can be found in journaling and the best part is, it is all up to the individual—there’s no wrong or right way about it.


Apart from gratitude journaling you could try:

  • Brain dumping your stream of consciousness. Make no judgments about what you write and just let your pen go without any inhibitions. This method helps you let go of what you’re holding onto and helps to identify any subconscious blocks that may be in your way of reaching clarity and your vision and goals.

This may sound like a given, but water, water, water absolutely raises your vibration and keeps you hydrated and cleansed. Clear the toxins and impurities that are weighing you down from the inside out.

Envision what you want to bring into your life; something you’re looking forward to, a goal, or a dream for the future. Close your eyes and see what you want to manifest—imagine yourself with every aspect of your desire.


  1. Connect With Nature

The energy of the Earth and the Universe is pure. Go outside and allow yourself to connect with nature. Let the sunshine hit your skin and feel the ground beneath your feet. Breath in the fresh air. Raise your vibrations with a good dose of serotonin.


  1. Meditating

Meditating is a great way to connect to a higher power and a powerful way to boost your vibrations. It helps to clear your negative energy and all the chaos cluttering in our minds. Take 10 minutes to let go of what doesn’t serve you and bring yourself into a different realm.
